mental wellbeing

Mental health, like physical health, is something we all have. And just like with our physical health sometimes we don’t feel as well as we would want too. We all feel low or down sometimes and stressed or anxious and mostly these feelings improve by themselves simply by us taking care of ourselves.

There is lots of information on the websites linked to from this page on you can do for yourself to look after your mental health.

However, there may be times when you need extra support and the quicker you get this the faster you can feel like yourself again.
.

What kinds of services are available?

If you are worried or concerned about how you are feeling the first place to go is your GP. Your GP will be able to assess if you would benefit from more specialised support or be supported by them.
