Wii Fit Circuits is a fresh, funky club that allows children to experience using the Wii Fit and other sports equipment taught by a professional, qualified and experienced instructor.
Each club can have between 10-20 children; in schools the rota of children change every half term, allowing all children to participate.
All equipment required to run the club is provided by the coach, however if a school or Community Centre has equipment on offer that can broaden the range of stations, this can also be used.
The club aims to improve, promote and make awareness of:
-
Accuracy, co-ordination and balance
-
Communication and social skills
-
Cardiovascular fitness
-
Maintaining a healthy weight
-
Knowledge and understanding of physical exercise
Since February half-term the club has been run at Schools in the local area. These have been very successful, running at full capacity every week with requests made for additional sessions. Currently the following time slots are available:
- Before school (7:30-9am) - Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri
- After school (3-5pm) - Tues
- During school - please enquire about times
